From Nonna's Kitchen to Yours

In 1985, Nonna Rosa transformed her family recipes into a small trattoria in San Francisco's North Beach. With a wood-fired oven built by her husband and a menu handwritten in Italian, she welcomed neighbors like family.

Today, her grandchildren Elena and Paolo carry the torch. They've preserved Nonna's original ragù, hand-rolled pasta techniques, and the belief that the best meals are shared slowly, with good wine and laughter.

Our ingredients tell a story: San Marzano tomatoes from Naples, fresh mozzarella flown in weekly, and herbs grown in our own rooftop garden. Every dish honors the past while embracing the bounty of California.
